I am very proud to say…
That I am now a full member of The Australian Institute of Professional Photographers! That’s their logo down the bottom right corner of my site, it links to my details in their list of accredited photographers.
Being an accredited member of the peak professional body for Australian photographers has always been very important to me and is something I am very proud to have achieved.
Likewise, having my work peer reviewed through entering the AIPP Australian Professional Photography Awards, at both state and national levels, is an important part of my professional development. I am delighted to have won a number of Silver awards in the two years I have been an AIPP member and am looking forward to entering the national competition as a full member this year.
Sweet Baby T
Can you believe the lips on this little guy? I lost track of how many different gorgeous expressions he made with them.
Baby T came to see me when he was 13 days old and he could not have been a better subject, such a relaxed and happy little baby. Might have had something to do with his lovely parents who were parenting like they had been at it for years not days.
Enjoy your preview mum and dad!
Pretty on pink (Day 16)
Some of the portraits of Summer have been edited in order. Some obviously haven’t!
I loved these when I took them, and there are a bunch more from the same day. It just took me a while to find the time to figure out the right treatment for these images, which I knew needed something very soft and dreamy.
Mothers Day Mini Sessions
With the birth of our third child I am feeling pretty excited about being a mother at the moment – but I am also feeling very ready to get back to doing what I love after the long enforced break during my pregnancy. In fact yesterday I had my first shoot of the year, capturing this gorgeous family, and I can’t tell you how much fun it was to be making portraits again!
In order to celebrate my own joy in being a mum and to help you indulge the mother/s in your life I have decided to offer a limited number of very special mini session packages this month, just in time for Mothers Day. The idea is to keep things simple (for you and for me) and by doing that to keep the sessions very affordable too – which means less decision making for you, less time spent by me and a great value package as a result!
These sessions are all inclusive packages for a set fee of $500, which covers:
- a mini session for your child or family, held at my favourite park,
- 10-15 images on a beautifully presented disk & in a web gallery for one year
- one mini accordion album and one 8×12″ custom art print.
There will be no in person ordering session for these packages – all your images will be on the disk, keeping things simple for you and for me! However, instead of an in person ordering session you will have a one week window where you can choose from your web gallery which image you want for your included custom art print. During this time you may also order additional prints at my special “from your disk” pricing (shown on my full price list, which will be provided when you book your session). Because these packages are already so well priced the special “from your disk” pricing will only apply to orders placed during that week. During this time you may also order additional identical mini accordions for $50 (normally $150), these are a wonderful gift for Grandparents. Best of all, during your ordering week you can upgrade your mini session package to include a 20×30″ canvas for $300.
Time slots for these sessions are extremely limited and the sessions must be held before the 18th of April to allow for delivery in time for Mothers Day. Please note that although I will make every effort, it is possible that canvases may not be deliverable in time for Mothers Day, as these are fine art items, individually printed and stretched by my suppliers, and can’t be rushed.
If you would like to book one of these sessions contact me now as time is short and spaces are very limited!
All the Little Details
One of the things I love about photographing newborn babies is capturing all the little details that make them unique – ears, nose, eyelashes, the swirls in their hair, their fingers & toes, their smooshy little rolls of skin. I am always excited when my clients “get” the importance of those little details and put a collage on the wall or include them in their album or birth announcement cards.
I know these little pieces of Summer will be going into our album.
