Check out the cuteness!!

Sunday was a HUGE day for me, with a full newborn session and two Christmas mini sessions – so I am still making my way through the sneak peaks. Because the mini sessions come with greeting cards I have to try very hard to choose images for the sneak peak that I love AND I don’t think will be chosen for their card.

With a little cutie like Emma it’s very hard to stick to the “mini” part of the Christmas session. Down side – I am going to be a very busy girl this month. Up side – plenty to blog in the sneak peak!

One guess what happens at my house when friends with babies visit…. Lunch? That can wait.

This little one is nearly 7 weeks old, it’s a hard age for naked sleeping baby shots, but all wrapped up outdoors works a treat, and once they are past the crossed eyed stage seeing their beautiful eyes can be just perfect.

Yesterday morning I made my way to the beach for a newborn session with baby Dylan, he was 11 days old and just perfect. And yet as I drove away I realised it was probably my longest newborn shoot ever! Not quite sure how that happened, because really he was so good to us and slept through pretty much everything. Maybe I do know how it happened:

Gorgeous baby + wonderful parents + beautiful location = too many portraits!

Kylie and Greg thank you so much for making the time to capture Dylan while he is still so tiny and new. I hope you are as excited by the results as I am!

I know I have said how much I love my job before, probably too many times. But maybe I haven’t said often enough how awesome my clients are. Honestly, I always seem to have the nicest people book sessions with me, so I really look forward to meeting them in person and this was no exception.

Michelle and Chris were so good to me today and they were so good to each other. You can clearly see how in love they are, how close and in tune they are, and how excited and happy they are about meeting the two little people that are hiding in there! And yet they are so relaxed and calm about it. First time parents aren’t supposed to be so chilled out – let alone first timers expecting TWINS!

Can you believe how good Michelle looks? She was just glowing, I know that’s a total cliche, but in this case it is also absolutely true.
