Can you believe this beautiful family? They were so at peace together, so loving and kind to each other and to me too the entire time I was with them!

Baby L was just 5 days old and slept like a champion, 5-7 days is the perfect age for newborn portraits and it showed!

Welcome to the world sweet baby L! It was such a joy to meet you today.

One of J’s friends called me on Monday to tell me J had been meaning to have some maternity photos taken for a while – a long while as it turned out – her cesarean was planned for Friday and Wednesday was her only day off. Was it too late? Luckily (unusually) it wasn’t! Isn’t she gorgeous?

Do you remember Alexandra? She carried these gorgeous baby girls for another 5 weeks after her maternity session. Thirty nine weeks is such an amazing achievement with twins. Both babies were over 3kgs when they were born, healthy, beautiful and able to come home straight away!

This was such a great session, how could it not be with such beautiful subjects? Yet again I just can’t choose so there are heaps of images here!

I really love it when opportunity arises to do a breastfeeding session. When I get to go back for a second one with the same mother and child it’s even more special. The breastfeeding relationship is such a wonderful part of the mother child relationship and so worth documenting.

Jess is weaning now, as she gets ready for the arrival her new baby sister – a beautiful session album of one of her last feeds is such an amazing keepsake for her to have.
