Big sister in waiting…
Whenever I have a shoot with a toddler I remind myself that no matter how unlikely it might seem at the time, with a little patience you can work magic. This gorgeous little girl did not want to be in any of the portraits we made at home, but once we hit the park she just lit up with the joy of being outdoors.
I can’t wait to meet her brother or sister in a few weeks time!
Treasured.
I really do have the most beautiful people as clients. I met this little guy on a less than perfect day for his parents. The first days with a newborn can be hard sometimes, and this was one of those hard days. And yet every minute that I was with this beautiful family they were loving, kind, gentle and peaceful. And loving, did I say loving already? Completely and utterly in love with the beautiful new person in their lives, and it showed in everything they did.
This baby is adored.
Thank you both for being so patient on the day, and in waiting for your preview!
Egg
This sweet little guy was 7 days new when I photographed him last Saturday – and he was just perfect in every way.
During the week a little 4 yr old popped up at my elbow, obviously very excited about Easter, and said “Eggs are for new life”. This image was the first thing that came into my mind. I replied “Why yes, yes they are!” and this one here is certainly the best egg I have seen in a while .
I am so grateful to every one of my wonderful clients for choosing me to capture the wonder of their new life.
Mine.
It seems like it was only a blink of an eye ago that Summer was a newborn baby in my arms. Tomorrow she’ll be having birthday cake for afternoon tea. I am not sure how that happened.
I am sure that I couldn’t be more blessed than I am with these three amazing young people.
Sydney Newborn
Meet my first Sydney newborn for 2011! Isn’t she gorgeous? She may have been the most relaxed & sleepy baby I have ever photographed.
Mum and dad doted. Baby slept. And slept. And slept some more. It was perfect, just like her!
